Policies
Unopened:
Unopened merchandise that can be returned to the manufacturer may be returned for a full refund less all shipping cost. This means that the merchandise must be in a factory sealed box with the seal unbroken. All returns are subject to inspection before refund is given. Customers have thirty days to return unopened items for full refund. There are no refunds given to unopened items after thirty days. The following items can only be returned for store credit, regardless if they are unopened: Serger/sewing machine attachments, stabilizer, scissors, belts, bobbin cases, needles, and rulers.
Opened:
Opened merchandise may be returned for a store credit less a 20% restocking fee, providing merchandise is in its original factory carton, undamaged, and all included accessories. You will be charged extra for any missing or damaged items upon return. Shipping is non-refundable and items purchased originally with “Free Shipping” will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund. All returns are subject to inspection before store credit is given.
Software:
Manufacturers allow no exchanges or refunds on software unless defective at the time of purchase and only for the same exact product.
Hardware:
Any hardware cannot be returned which includes, but is not limited to, items such as embroidery cards, compact flash cards, compact flash card adapters, converter boxes, and scanning devices.
Factory Defects:
We will repair or replace any unit within the first 30 days of purchase if the manufacturer determines it to be defective in material and workmanship. If the unit cannot be repaired within 30 days of purchase we will replace the unit. We have to see the unit first to determine if the problem you are having is covered by warranty.
Internet Items:
Customers purchasing machines through the internet, including auction websites such as Ebay, are
given thirty (30) days to return the item for a refund. All returns must include all notions and accessories originally sold with the machine. There are no returns on individual notions or accessories without the machine. A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returned machines. All machines are subject to inspection before the refund is given, and any notion or accessory not returned with the machine will be charged to the customer. Machines are given a 90 Day warranty in which all labor will be performed for no charge, provided the machine is shipped to Missouri Sewing Machine Company. Missouri Sewing Machine Company will incur shipping costs for the machine back to the customer.
Customized Items:
Any item ordered with customized specifications cannot be returned. Customized items include,
but are not limited to, items such as inserts, sewing attachments, binding attachments, or parts created specifically for the customer’s needs.
Shipping Charges:
No refunds on any shipping charges. Items that had free shipping will have the shipping charges reduced from the return amount.
No Return on following items:
Under no circumstance can the following items be returned for credit: thread, bobbins, bobbin cases, walking feet, and ruffling attachments.
No Returns on any Extended Service Warranties.
