NEW monthly group meeting in Independence! Jodie Land, a quilt designer, has been involved with Project Linus designing free patterns for many years. Jodi will provide a NEW quilt pattern every month, with kits ready to sew and instruction. This is a great opportunity to become a Blanketeer, and be part of a community helping children. No experience needed. Time 1-4 pm at the Independence store. Each month you can participate in two ways: 1. Come and use a prepared kit from Jodi. 2. Bust that stash bring fabric from home, using your own favorite pattern. You can choose how to finish these quilts, stitching in the ditch, tying, envelope method, edge to edge quilting. You can also leave your completed tops with Jodi for one of the project groups to finish.
